Marisa Zeppieri is the Founder of LupusChick.com, a global nonprofit for people with autoimmune and chronic conditions. She spent over 15 years as a health journalist and is the author of two books, most recently a memoir titled, Chronically Fabulous.
She speaks nationally on topics revolving around thriving despite chronic illness. She is the former Mrs. New York 2015 and is profiled in Lady Gaga’s anthology, Channel Kindness.
She has a heart for helping others and has awarded 19 college scholarships to men and women living with lupus through her nonprofit. You can see her live in her upcoming TED Talk this
April 2025 in Charleston, SC. She is an artist and loves to binge Frasier and naps, a lot.
Britt Walker is a seasoned attorney with over 20 years of experience standing up for vulnerable kids, both in the courtroom and within group homes. With a knack for organization and a talent for cutting through complex legal details, Britt has built a career that’s all about advocating, educating, and making real change. Beyond the legal world, Britt is also an author and a creative spirit with a passion for beauty through the art of interior decorating through her company, Enapay Designs. Life at home includes two amazing kids, a wonderful husband, and—of course—a love for reruns of The Office. Balancing family life, health, following Jesus, and a calling, Britt finds joy in transforming spaces
and stories, always seeking
ways to make a difference in both.
